Lithium/Thionyl Chloride (LTC-)Batteries

The Tadiran lithium/thionyl chloride (LTC) inorganic electrolyte battery is a power source that is suited to the requirements of the new generation in microelectronics. For example, CMOS memories as well as utility meters require a lightweight power source providing safe and reliable performance over a wide range of environmental conditions, for long periods of time.

The Tadiran inorganic battery is a component that can be permanently connected to a circuit, in many cases for the lifetime of the equipment.

The PulsesPlus battery technology is a unique solution for applications requiring low background currents combined with high current pulses. It combines Tadiran LTC cells with a novel hermetically sealed Hybrid Layer Capacitor (HLC).

Tadiran Lithium Metal Oxide (TLM-)Batteries

The TLM battery technology has been developed recently for applications requiring high power discharge after a long storage time, e.g. as a back up battery for emergency call devices in automotive telematic systems. These batteries are non rechargeable, have no passivation and are unmatched especially in the low temperature range.
